Star Symphony Drone Shows Raise the Bar for UK Drone Displays at Ascot Racecourse Fireworks 2025
Star Symphony Drone Shows, together with its sister company Star Fireworks, delivered a breathtaking fusion of drones and fireworks at the annual Ascot Racecourse charity fireworks display on 1st November 2025.
This dynamic team has quickly built a reputation for creating some of the most thrilling and visually stunning drone light shows in the UK, and the Ascot event was a perfect showcase of their talent. Designed and choreographed entirely in-house, the show combined several hundred drones with tonnes of fireworks for a seamless, high-impact spectacle.
The sky came alive with a 200-metre-wide recreation of the famous Ascot grandstand, a galloping racehorse, a superhero, champagne glasses, a Union Jack, and a dramatic countdown leading into the fireworks. A highlight of the show was a magnificent 100-metre-wide phoenix with moving pyro drones creating cascading waterfall effects from its gracefully flapping wings.
Lead designer and chief pilot Andy Hubble said, “This is one of the UK’s largest Guy Fawkes displays, and we always aim to bring something new and exciting. The addition of drones this year absolutely captivated the audience, and the incredible feedback we received shows just how much they loved it. Our designs are leading the UK drone industry. No other system can deliver such dynamic and spectacular shows at a price that makes sense. While some competitors charge thousands to fly just 20 or 30 drones, we can fly many times that number for a far more impressive and engaging display.”
Star Symphony Drone Shows works closely with Star Fireworks to create unforgettable combined shows, but both companies also operate independently. Clients can choose a dazzling drone show, a fireworks spectacular, or a perfectly synchronised combination of both.
